I hate small talk. I much prefer just getting into the heart of matters and having authentic and vulnerable conversations. This set of small 6x6 paintings reflect the "volleying" of conversations represented in the energy of the various shapes that seem to be vibrating from canvas to canvas. The color palatte is also a point of interest, as I used a limited palette of non-primary colors. The marks throughout the pieces seem to be the quite conversation in the paintings that point to deeper, more meaningful exchanges. Let's skip the small talk!
